John Adams…Hi John. You may remember that my wife, Beth, and I popped in one
afternoon last year to have a “look-see” and managed to leave a US presidential coin
(John Adams) with you.
This year would we have a chance to bowl if we showed up on the afternoon of Monday
20 August? I’m being date-specific to tie it in with our stay in Arbroath and the fact that
we’re planning to play in the weekly “hat” at Baxter Park Mon evening.

Hello, I am trying to track down a (former) member of one of the BF bowling clubs or a member of his family in connection with a story we are hoping to do for BBC Scotland’s news programmes. George Ross owned a pigeon called Winkie which becamse famous for its part in the rescue of an RAF crew during the Second World War. It’s the 70th anniversary of the rescue next week.
